This trip was honestly everything I hoped Greece would be and more! Every island had something different to offer and the whole 9 days were filled with beautiful places, amazing food, incredible experiences and so many laughs and memories. A huge part of what made the trip so special was our tour guide, Dorothy. She was absolutely AMAZING! She was so warm, fun, organised and genuinely cared about everyone having the best experience possible. She brought the whole group together and made everything feel easy, while still making the trip so much fun. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, she is one of a kind! Iāve dreamed about travelling through the Greek islands for years and Dorothy genuinely helped make my Greek dreams come true. I had such an amazing week on the Greek island hopping tour, and a huge part of that was because of Billy, our tour manager. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, funny and always made sure everyone was having a great time, while also joining in himself. Maldit honestly deserves full credit for his professionalism and standards he set throughout the whole trip. While there was only a small group of 5 of us on our tour, his larger then life approach helped create it to be a very special experience. He made this experience what it was.
This holiday was incredible. Super relaxing with fantastic food, awesome swimming spots and great weather. It was so nice to meet more solo travellers from around Australia, the UK and New York and having a tour with only 9 travellers made the experience even better. Small group tours is definitely the way to go!! Dorothy was an awesome tour guide and kept the vibe and energy up the entire time. Would definitely recommend this tour to any solo travellers.
Best holiday ever! Tour guide, Marianna, was so hospitable, fun and knowledgeable. She truly made the experience better! Having all the transfers and boats between islands booked and sorted with Marianna looking out for us every step of the way let us just enjoy our time fully. The pace of the trip was perfect and each island we visited had its own unique quirks and fun activities planned. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about travelling Greece solo.

Great trip and 100% worth it! I do wish it had been made clear that the Athens welcome meeting was mandatory, and I also wish we had a little more free time. Other than that, it was an amazing experience. Marianna was an incredible tour guideāfriendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip even better. I would definitely recommend this tour!

From start to finish, our guide Maltik brought his happy and calm personality to our group. The organisation from transfers, hotels, excursions, restaurants were seemless. Mal always put a positive spin on any hiccup (ferry delay= 3 more hours at a beach club!!). The food at the restaurants was amazing. My favourite experience had to be the wine tasting and tour in Santorini. However, the last meal in Mykonos overlooking the harbour watching the sun set was magical. Big shout out to Mal for organising the greek dinner night for my 30th birthday and recommending a beautiful lunch spot on the water to celebrate on arrival to Paros.
If you enjoy a deep immersion small group tour experience focused on history, culture and local food, then you will LOVE the Island Hopping tour through Paros/Antiparos, Naxos and Thera/Santorini with this outfit. Our tour guide, Amalia, was impressively knowledgeable, organized and patient with our group. My wife and I are in our late 60s and had very little difficulty with the scheduled hikes. Surprisingly affordable. Hotels were pretty nice. Zero complaints although I will note we often had difficulty getting change for larger bills so as to have tip money on hand for drivers and guides. We also generated a lot of dirty laundry on the hikes and most of the hotels do not have guest laundry.
Amalia was our Tour Manager and she was very knowledgeable about the history and Mythology. The hikes were challenging but not to much. The restaurant we went to were very good and the food was amazing. If you weren't a Foodie when you started you definitely will be by the end of the tour.

I have travelled a lot in Europe but this was my first visit to Greece. Our tour guide Amalia was excellent. I have led groups myself in the past so know all the hard work that goes into leading a trip. Amalia was very well prepared and looked after out every need. Couldn't have been better ! I was joined by 2 other ladies to make a merry band of 4. Hiking was relatively easy compared to what I am used to (which I had anticipated) but I also really enjoyed Amalia's stories of Greek culture and visits to the winery, distillery, olive oil press and pottery. The cheese tasting was especially informative. Hotels were excellent and my only slight criticism would be the location of the Kalisperis Hotel in Santorini which was a bit remote. I feel like I have had. a wonderful week learning about Greek culture and the tour exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a similar experience.
My experience with Island Hopping was great. From the first interaction with Amalia till our teary goodbye hugs, the trip was as described and more. Venturing into small mountainside towns to posh beach front restaurants, travel was carefree and arranged thoughtfully. I highly recommend.
From the moment we met Amallie (queenie) to us; we knew we were in good hands. Amallie knowledge of her country was over the top. I could listen to her talk all day. The hiking tours were amazing. We really enjoyed this trip and would 100% recommend it- if you have the opportunity go for it. We had the absolutely best guide, AmalĆa, whose knowledge of Greek culture and the islands was superb. Her organisational and interpersonal skills were a joy to behold, resulting in a fabulous experience. Iāve been to many of the Greek Islands several times over the years, albeit generally sailing, but this trip gave me a whole different perspective, in a good way. Go for it, you wonāt regret it.
We had the most incredible holiday on the Greek Island Explore trip. A perfect balance of exciting hikes exploring scenic and historic trails in Athens, Paris, Milos and Santorini. Our guide Amalia was the most caring, knowledgable and loveliest of ladies. Her professionalism and attention to detail in organising each and every hike, meal or transfer was so impressive. Loved every moment and would highly recommend this tour.
The organisation of the island hopping/hiking holiday was excellent. The hikes were an ideal mix of interest and challenge - we are both reasonably fit 70 year olds and we didnāt have any problems. We enjoyed the mix of abilities and nationalities in our group of eight. Our guide, Amalia, was very professional as well as being knowledgeable, caring and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The choice of restaurants and coffee stops was 5*, we particularly enjoyed the wine tasting and food at the winery in Santorini. I canāt recommend this holiday highly enough.
Booked this trip on an impulse, then started to get anxious about the itinerary, the fellow travellers & whether or not we would be fit enough being over 70. I can tell you we worried unnecessarily because the Hike Greece trip was wonderful from start to finish. Our guide Amalia was fantastic, a lovely person with incredible knowledge of Greece & the Greek islands. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Our fellow travellers, 2 from the USA, 2 from Canada, 2 from South Africa & us 2 from England all got on incredibly well & enjoyed spending most of the day & evening together. We got to hike some of the most scenic trails & walk around the most prettiest towns & villages whilst enjoying fabulous local Greek meals in lovely restaurants all organised for us by Amalia.

The hiking tour in Greece was a wonderful experience with a blend of three hikes as well as tours through each town or city taking us to hidden gems, wonderful restaurants with recommendations of what to eat and drink, guiding us to beautiful sunset destinations and shops. We averaged about 15 to 20,000 steps a day. Included were tours for wine tasting, pottery and oil press. Our guide, Iouyia, was fabulous and I would highly recommend her!
Hiking is the best way to experience Greece, especially with the local, experienced guides that Island Hopping provides (Ioulia is amazing!) We ate the best local food, saw the most interesting sites, captured amazing views, all while getting plenty of exercise. Smooth transitions, learning Greek history, language, culture, all while being safely guided on this adventure. If you want to see the real Greece, and experience the hospitality, dignity, humor, and honor of Greek people, then this is the tour for you.
Highly recommend Island Hopping! Mal was a fantastic tour guide and looked after us so well. He is so special. Daily cocktails, dancing on table tops and adventuring the various islands are some of my favourite memories. Lovely way to make friends and it was so wonderful to have an itinerary which had the perfect amount of partying and relaxation. Transport was so smooth and the accommodation was wonderful,. 10/10 experience.
Giannis is passionate about Greece and it's culture. I thought he did a great job of inviting us into his country and teaching us about the history and the language - in an engaging and enjoyable way. He was organized and professional, and able to have a laugh with everyone. I really enjoyed my trip and the experience as a whole.
Such an amazing experience, shared with some wonderful people. The trip had the right balance of organised activities with free time. Both the Paros day trip and Greek night were standouts. Organised transfers and pre-booked ferries made moving from island to island simple and stress free. We were well looked after by our guide, Yianni, who made sure everyone was on time for transfers, gave historic details of the sites we visited, and helped immerse ourselves in Greek culture.
YASSSSS YIANNI!! All day every day. He was such an amazing tour guide, he made sure we were all comfortable and looked after. No one was ever alone because we had Mother there to guide us, chat to us, join us in activities and make us feel part of the beautiful family he curated. The Islands were beautiful, Yianna was very knowledgeable on every city. The history, the theatre, the mythology, food, customs and all the places to completely indulge and enjoy our stops. Island hopping was a well organised tour with awesome accommodation throughout and excellent activities. (so many beautiful swimming spots that almost stole me forever) The pirate ship and Greek night were wholesome highlights, our nights out in Ios are a magical blur that were so much fun and really brought our group together, drinking and dancing the nights away. Overall, this trip was a lot of fun, beautiful sites, great food and wonderful company. I highly recommend Island hopping. And Yianni. š Thank you!!

Island hopping was such an incredible experience and having Amalia as our tour guide made it even better! The islands themselves were stunning. The food along the way was delicious, and the nights out were so much fun , a great mix of relaxing and lively moments. Amalia brought passion and energy to the trip. She was so kind and welcoming, always making sure everyone was having a great time. She even helped us with our Greek, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel more authentic. I joined this trip solo as I had always wanted to visit the Greek islands but was a but apprehensive in booking the ferries and accommodation but Amalia made the experience so light and easy ! Amalia is so knowledgeable on the Greek islands-where the best places to eat and drink are and also just general information on each island. Each island has its own unique personality and something to do for everyone. I especially loved the speedboat day in Ios including tubing which was my first time doing it ! I also loved the santorini day hiking and going to the black beach and winery. I also lovedd the Paros accommodation. I loved meeting everyone on my tour- we were a cute little group of 6 including Amalia who felt as much a part of the group as well as a tour guide. She has an incredible infectious amount of energy which really showed and felt very organised and friendly. She made the tour feel so easy and fun and we did so much on each island ! I would definitely recommend it !

My Athens Return tour was absolutely outstanding. The entire experience was incredible thanks to our amazing guide, Mal. He was so easy-going, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had the best time possible. I just finished the Athens return tour and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The different accommodations we stayed in were perfectly located with stunning ocean views in Santorini and Ios. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Although I came on this trip solo, Iāve ended it having made friends for life. We partied hard on this trip but we also had chill days so there was a good balance. Our tour guide Marianna was amazing. She was super professional and answered any questions we had quickly and efficiently. She also shared history facts with us on each Island that we visited which I found very interesting. She was so much fun, full of energy and made the trip an even better experience than it already was. Thank you Marianna!

I came solo as a 35 year old Female and wasnāt sure what to expect, But I could not of asked for a better group, every single person on my tour was amazing and unique in their own way and I honestly could not fault them. I made the most epic memories I could ever of asked for because of this group. If youāre looking for a way to see the islands without putting in the effort , just pack a bag and go and youāll be left with memories for life. Theres lots of partying and not much sleep but if this is your vibe then this tour is for you. Thanks Dorothy for all the knowledge and the bar crawls and everything in between !!!
Enjoyed exploring the Greek Islands without the stress of having to book travel and accommodation. The tour offered a range of destinations and activities that I may not have discovered on my own. Enjoyed being able to share these experiences with some new friends.
