The organisation of the island hopping/hiking holiday was excellent. The hikes were an ideal mix of interest and challenge - we are both reasonably fit 70 year olds and we didn’t have any problems. We enjoyed the mix of abilities and nationalities in our group of eight. Our guide, Amalia, was very professional as well as being knowledgeable, caring and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The choice of restaurants and coffee stops was 5*, we particularly enjoyed the wine tasting and food at the winery in Santorini. I can’t recommend this holiday highly enough.
Booked this trip on an impulse, then started to get anxious about the itinerary, the fellow travellers & whether or not we would be fit enough being over 70. I can tell you we worried unnecessarily because the Hike Greece trip was wonderful from start to finish. Our guide Amalia was fantastic, a lovely person with incredible knowledge of Greece & the Greek islands. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Our fellow travellers, 2 from the USA, 2 from Canada, 2 from South Africa & us 2 from England all got on incredibly well & enjoyed spending most of the day & evening together. We got to hike some of the most scenic trails & walk around the most prettiest towns & villages whilst enjoying fabulous local Greek meals in lovely restaurants all organised for us by Amalia.
Mal was a fantastic guide. He's so fun and made sure the group was always having the best time and knew where to go. I would definitely recommend doing this trip with Mal

Giannis is passionate about Greece and it's culture. I thought he did a great job of inviting us into his country and teaching us about the history and the language - in an engaging and enjoyable way. He was organized and professional, and able to have a laugh with everyone. I really enjoyed my trip and the experience as a whole.

This was the trip of a lifetime. Our tour guide Marianna was the BEST! She made the trip, was so organised, helpful and fun. There was so much to do and see and she brought the vibes to all of it! I would highly recommend people to do this tour.

The tour itself is amazing and my tour guide was the best. However me and my partner got off to a very bad start when we had booked the twin room upgrade and they told us our booking was accepted, then when we got there found out they had booked us in with the hostels without telling us so we had to spend the first night in a shared dorm with others which was absolutley not the trip we wanted or booked. They did fix this by day 2 and said it was "Human error". We had our own room from there and the rest of our tour was incredible.
This island hopping tour was sooo much fun!! It was such an amazing experience where we were able explore all different aspects of each island, from great food and views, to hectic night life and parties! Our tour guide Amalia was the absolute best and always had our best interests at heart. She took such good care of us and not only has great knowledge and experience of the Greek islands but also knows how to party!! We met so many amazing people on the tour and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with any other group or tour leader! Couldn’t recommend this experience more.

My boyfriend and I booked this tour and honestly it was the experience of a lifetime!! Dorothy was our tour guide and she made the experience the best it could have been. She is so friendly and bubbly and sooooo much fun, great at hyping up the group and full of knowledge about Greece and the history. I’ve never met a better tour guide she is AMAZING!!! The tour of the 4 islands is so much fun, awesome pub crawls, delicious dinners and bloody awesome day excursions. Met the most amazing people on this tour, I loved everything about it. Big thanks to Dorothy the best Greek mommy, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking this trip!

The islands and activities were perfect, you had the opportunity to see all the major attractions of each island and to party into the night. Our tour manager Maldit was exceptional and we had an amazing group that made the trip a life time memory.

My partner and I were recommended this trip by a friend who has previously done it and we are both so glad we booked in with med experience! Right from the beginning to end it was nothing short of amazing. Sof our tour leader was beautiful inside and out, she had lots of knowledge about the Greek culture and knew how to have fun with our crazy group. She has the sweetest soul and I am so glad we had her, it certainly made our experience 10000x better!! I couldn’t speak more highly of Sof. I have no negative comments to say about med experience at all, only that I wish it went for longer!!! The day trips and excursions were so so much fun and very well priced. The accommodation in each place was very good as well, as my partner and I got a free upgrade for private rooms which was perfect! Overall would 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone and everyone, we had the best time. I will be back for more!!!! WE LOVE SOF!!!!
The tour host Dorothy brought everything to life. She made the whole trip enjoyable and fun, she knew everything about where we were, we never got lost, she sprinkled in fun facts about the locations we were visiting and brought the vibe to a whole new level. There was unfortunately an issue with 1 person on the trip who tried to bring the group down and Dorothy always defused the situation and brought us all back together and focused on making us have fun. You have an absolute gem on your member of staff and if I can have 1 comment it would be please hire more staff like Dorothy!
Pros: - Hassle free travel. All transport is organised. - Great excursions. - Tour guide is local making communication and traversing the islands easy. - Most hotels are great. - Very flexible. Can choose to do your own thing if you wish. - Group environment however not tied to the group if you don't want to be. - Tour guide is a great source of information and knows the best spots. Cons: - Athens days consist entirely of travel in ferries. Best to do the 9 day and fly straight to the islands. - Some hotels were poor (internet, rooms, bathrooms). No choice of hotels or locations if you choose to join a tour group. - Excursions will be cancelled if the majority of the group choose to not do it.
Our tour guide, Maldit, was fantastic. I have been on numerous group tours previously and Maldit was by far the best tour guide. He made great suggestions, was not pushy with doing extra activities and treated everyone with respect and dignity. Accomodation was very good at Ios, Paros and Mykonos but Santorini left a lot to be desired. Great pool at Ios and Paros whilst being situated at the beach club in Mykonos was great.
Can’t rate it highly enough! We saw everything I wanted to plus more and was sooooo much fun!
The tour was fun! Santorini was a bit too rushed and the restaurant choices were a bit too pricey for our group as we would have preferred street food to save money. Us as a group enjoyed being able to have free time in ios and Paros to explore on our own. More time in Santorini free exploring would have been a lot better. We only got 20-30 minutes in oia, would have loved to watch the sunset from here.

Everyday I found myself thanking my girlfriend for booking this tour rather than trying to work it out for ourselves, could not stress how much value I think we got from our money spent. The tour had an excellent atmosphere. All of us quickly became friends and this was largely facilitated by our tour leader Dimos. He gave excellent recommendations on places to go, things to eat, was knowledgeable on the sites and led the group in a way that was effective and inclusive. He was calm and collected during a stressful crisis situation and held his composure like a professional. He is an excellent tour guide and an asset to your organisation. He is one of the most beautiful souls we have met. He has left a massive impact on us and we are sad that the tour is over and we won't be able to hang out anymore. I wish him the best life and hope our paths cross again in the future. Thank you for offering this service, medex & Dimos made made an already excellent holiday an unforgettable one.
All the islands were beautiful and Kriton was a good friend and instructor on this trip. He did everything possible to make sure we were all involved. Would very much have liked space and time as a couple to go out and explore a bit more. A lot of focus on partying which suited a lot of the group, personally as someone who likes to explore I think I would’ve preferred staying in Mykonos town as I feel like I didn’t get to see it properly.
